What is teletherapy?

We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect with our licensed therapists and coaches from anywhere you feel comfortable. Our teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient. All you needs is a phone, iPad, or computer to participate.

Is therapy or coaching right for me?

Seeking out therapy is an individual choice. There are many reasons why people choose to have therapy. Sometimes they want to deal with long-standing psychological issues, or problems with anxiety or depression. Other times it’s in response to unexpected life changes, such as a divorce or work transitions. 


Many seek the advice of a coach as they pursue personal exploration and growth. Working with a coach can help provide insight, support, and new strategies for all types of life challenges. 


Both options are right for anyone who is interested in getting more out of life by taking responsibility, creating greater self-awareness, and working towards change. 

What is a session like?

Every  session is unique and caters to an individual and their specific goals. It is standard  to discuss the primary issues and concerns in your life during sessions. It is common to schedule a series of weekly sessions, where each session lasts around fifty minutes. Sessions can be short-term, focusing on a specific issue, or longer-term, addressing more complex issues or ongoing personal growth. There may be times when you are asked to take certain actions outside of the  sessions, such as reading a relevant book or keeping records to track certain behaviors. It is important to process what has been discussed and integrate it into your life between sessions. For therapy or coaching to be most effective you must be an active participant, both during and between the sessions.  

Do you accept insurance?

To determine if you have mental health coverage, the first thing you should do is check with your insurance carrier. Check your coverage carefully and find the answers to the following questions:

  • What are my mental health benefits?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
  • How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

How much does it cost?

Rates are set by therapists and coaches. That can be discussed during a consultation.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you do not show up for your scheduled  appointment, and you have not notified our staff at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
