About This Service

Real therapy. Built for adults with full lives.

Individual therapy at Legacy Online Counseling is exactly what it sounds like — a dedicated hour with a licensed therapist who is focused entirely on you. We work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more.

Telehealth means you join from wherever you have privacy and a reliable connection — home office, parked car between meetings, kitchen table after the kids are asleep. The clinical work is the same as an in-person session. The logistics are easier.

We are honest with our clients, and we deliberately do not overbook our team. You get real access to your therapist between sessions — because the work does not pause when the 50 minutes do.

Frequently Asked

Quick answers.

How is online individual therapy different from in-person therapy?
Clinically, the work is the same. The research on telehealth therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions shows outcomes equivalent to in-person care. The differences are practical — no commute, no waiting room, sessions from wherever you have privacy and a reliable connection.
How quickly can I get started?
Most new clients are matched with a therapist and scheduled within one to two weeks. We do not maintain the months-long waitlists common at traditional practices because we deliberately keep our caseloads at a level where our therapists actually have access to support clients between sessions.
Do you take my insurance?
We are in-network with TRICARE, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and Medicaid in FL, AR, and MS. We also accept HSA / FSA cards. Self-pay is available — contact us for current rates. We verify your benefits before your first appointment so there are no surprises.
Will my therapist actually be available between sessions?
Yes. We deliberately do not overbook our team, which means your therapist has the bandwidth to respond when something comes up — not weeks later, not in the next session. That is not standard at most practices, and it is one of the reasons we built this one.
